This is a video I shot and edited for Youth Unlimited’s Directors Dinner 2021. This video is a conversation between Helen Wise, the previous Director of People Development, and Michelle Lau, who will be assuming the role. In this video, we highlight the role of a “mother tree” in forests; how they provide, protect, and nature the growth of the life in a forrest. This analogy served as a metaphor for how the role of Director of People Development is perceived at Youth Unlimited. In this video, Helen and Michelle both reflect on their experiences and offer their hopes for the Youth Unlimited team moving into the future.
